SWIFTSPIN Fidget Spinner
Hi all! It's been a long time since I have poster a review on this blog! Thanks for tuning into this review! I had the opportunity to receive and review a brand new SWIFTSPIN Fidget Spinner.
I have really enjoyed this spinner. It may look just like the cheap spinners you can pick up in the checkout line at a grocery store, but it is anything but. The molding of the frame is very nice and clean and looks great and the center bearing is of very high quality. It is made of high strength steel, which is designed to spin faster and longer than traditional hybrid ceramic bearings. In a spin test, it lasts around 3.5 minutes! I have another fidget spinner that has a little bit more sturdy frame that, at best, lasts for 1.5 minutes! Not enough can be said about the bearing quality, and the effect on the spinning ability of this spinner.
Additionally, the case that it comes in is very nice and comfortable to carry in your pocket, and is a great way to protect it.
All that being said, I ended up getting a couple of these, and there are a few cons. The first is that the frame is not the most durable I have seen. The first one I received was damaged in shipping and had three large cracks in it. SWIFTSPIN was great to work with on getting a new one, but still a con. Another con, and this is only the case on one of them, is that the covers over the center bearing are a little unbalanced. After popping off the top part, I noted that the edge was shaved down a little bit on once side, which caused the unbalance. It could easily be remedied, but it is a downside.
All in all, I still really like this spinner and would recommend it, for the bearing quality alone.
